Madden 09 is very solid gameplay and graphically speaking. Some claim to have encountered freezing issues but I have not seen any of that. The gameplay is realistic and the weather conditions are great. The uniforms get extremely dirty during rain games. The colors of the teams are dead on. All in all it`s a great football experience. People are complaining about the upcoming release of Madden 11 not having the dirty uniform effect. If that`s true then do yourself a favor and buy Madden 09. Sometimes newer doesn`t mean better.

I purchase this game to play online with friends and It's great !
Is not the last game release but it's much more affordable than the new one, and you can have great times playing online with friends and other people.
The movements for play are a little complicated for small kids, but nothing that some practice can't solve.

My 10 year old son and I bought 2007 last year, I wish we had gotten 2009 instead, 09 is infinitely easier and more fun than they previous Madden's. We have especially enjoyed the 5 on 5 games, as well as the drills for different positions.

Its a fun game for when I feel like playing football and the graphics are pretty good. I bought this for 14 dollars because I don't want to buy the newest madden game for 60 when I can just buy the one from the year before for a lot cheaper. So if you just play football games occasionally then you should save some money by buying this.

My 12 year old bought this game and he literally played it every waking moment, until I had to limit it down to an hour a day!
so for some good entertainment in the car or some other place you find your self with the kids, while they are expressing "Im so boared I think I'm gunna die"
this is a great game to purchace.
