 Great for Guitar Hero January 6, 2009

I purchased this guitar as a second one (to go with the packaged black one in the Guitar Hero set). My kids fight over using this one now. Functionality is exactly the same, but it looks much cooler. We've logged many hours on this toy already, and no problems.

I purchased this item brand new and it looked great. Sadly, and this is at no fault to the seller, guitars for PS2 are so cheaply made that it is such a pain to get it to work. I even purchased another brand new guitar to see if it was just the one guitar, but its not.Most of the time the guitar will not connect properly with the system and I will have to restart the system MANY times in order for the guitar to work properly. Had I known that I would be having such problems I would have purpashed PS3 or Xbox cause the guitars for those systems are so much better quality

Do not buy this guitar. Worked for maybe 2 days. Fret keys started missing, then the green/red would work the blue/orange keys. Whammy bar is hit or miss on whether it works. Sometimes it did...sometimes it didn't. Definitely NOT worth the money.

Bought two of these from Target for Xmas. The whammy bar on one didn't work right out of the box and the other one just stopped working in a week. Not a good sign.

I bought this product at the closest Target store. I came home and the strum bar didn't work. I returned it to Target the next day figuring that there was something wrong with this one. The new one has the same problem. I don't think this guitar is set up to work with Guitar Hero 3 as stated on the box. I am greatly upset and cannot get back to return and buy a different brand for another 3 days now.
