Customer Reviews: another quick gameAugust 31, 2010 Avique(Everett, Washington USA) We've tried out a few kids games for the PS2 so far and I'm finding they are all short, about 2 hours long. Not that I'm trying to turn my girl into a game junkie, I'd just like a bit more for my money.
Good things: It's the Princesses. It's not really scary. Nobody really gets hurt. Even the Bogs turn back into butterflies after you smack them around. There are some puzzle like elements that take some thought, and listening to the instructions is key. My girl loves designing characters.
Bad things: the control interface seems a bit mushy and loose. In tight spots, this was a bit annoying. The bonus round is kind of lame. The extras are lame, too. Changing wands or to the gold dress? Big whoop, you get those anyway when you finish the game. And it's short. Oh and what's with the gem counter topping out at 999 long before the end of the game? Rip off.
Other than that, my girl is loving it and probably will continue to love it long after I have wished it to Perdition. Isn't that the definition of a successful children's game?
My 5 & 7 yr olds love it.July 4, 2010 Emily A. Socha(Rigby, ID) I bought this for my daughter's 5th birthday. She loves it! It's easy enough that she is able to understand what she needs to do but it's also fun enough that my 7 year old SON likes to play it with her! They love that they can create & play as their own princess. I love that it is 1-2 player. I would recommend this for ANY little girl who loves princesses!
Not disappointed. Money well spent.May 25, 2010 Brian Smith(Blue Earth, MN) This game is perfectly suited for my 5 year old daughter. We bought it for her 5th birthday and even though she has completed the game 6 times now, she still enjoys playing it 4 months later. Most of the game is fun and easy but there are a couple of levels that provide just the right amount of challenge and frustration to allow her to keep trying and but not so much as to make her wanna quit. The opening sequence tells a lengthy and entertaining story that does a great job building anticipation of the forthcoming game. My daughter will actually start a new game just to watch the opening sequence. Overall this is a very entertaining game and if I had it to do all over again I'd buy the same exact game.
Very Entertaining For Young ChildFebruary 27, 2010 Breeann Wright(Woods Cross, UT USA) My daughter (5) loves this game and has played it over and over and over....., she finished it fast but loves playing. Overall the game is good be 5 different princesses, and there are three levels for each princess.Overall it is pretty easy. It would have been better if they let the player choose more difficulty levels. It is a game I would get again.
UnfortunateSeptember 3, 2009 Bewitched(Missouri) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got this game for my five year old daughter. From all the reviews it sounded like she would be able to play it by herself. Unfortunately, we never got to find out since it would not play in our playstation 2. I will have to locate an U.S. version.
I was very happy with how quickly my money was refunded. I felt like I was taken care of.
